Egbema Massive Movement, Is bringing positive change to the people of Egbema and Niger Delta at large.
The Egbema Massive Movement continues to key into bringing solution to pressing issues affecting the people of Egbema.
On December 27th, 2024, the Egbema Youth Summit unlocked her 8th edition, and celebrated her 10th anniversary lunch of the Egbema Massive Movement worldwide. The initiative which continues to pave a path that offers hope for youths and individuals within the Egbema region and beyond. Consistently and singlehandedly works with few individuals who share in her vision of developing Egbema and other Niger Delta region.
The Egbema Massive Movement, spear headed by Ambassador I.E Kelly Rufus has created a conducive atmosphere that nurture and supports youths. Providing skill acquisition programmes and funding to sponsor education and productive business ideas for the people of Egbema both in the Rivers state region and Imo state.
While the movement celebrates a decade of bringing unity, progress and empowerment in the Egbema region since it’s inception. Making giant strides and also celebrating the hardwork of some individuals whose effort in the Niger Delta region needs to inspire other younger individuals. Through infrastructural development, advocacy for good governance, empowerment initiative, educational support, health initiative, and social outreach. The Egbema Massive Movement continues to key into bringing solution to pressing issues affecting the people of Egbema.
According to Chief Dr Nelson JP, the traditional prime minister of Okwuzi community in Egbema. He shared that the Egbema Massive Movement has come to stay for consistently believing in advocacy. In his words, “Egbema Massive Movement in abbreviation EMM, has come to stay for consistently believing in advocacy. Making sure that Egbema realize the fact that to be a youth is a good thing to our people and contributes to the development of Egbema both in Rivers and in Imo state. Egbema Massive Movement have showcased talented youths that can make positive impact in several areas. Especially in development, peace, unity and empowerment of our youth,” he said. Adding that his prayer is for the movement to continue to expand and touch the lives of people within Egbema and the Niger Delta region.
Honorable Jerry Mmanwoke, the executive assistant to the ONELGA Council Chairman Honorable Isaac Umejuru. Also revealed that he would continue to give his full support to the progress of the initiative. While he was one of the Niger Delta Distinguished Personalities 2024 awardees, he also showed appreciation for being recognized.

In the words of the convener of Egbema Massive Movement worldwide Ambassador Kelly Rufus. He basked in the euphoria of the progress of the movement. He appreciated the almighty God for how far the initiative has come regardless lack of support from major multinationals that have been exploiting the natural gas and resources of Egbema. He said, “We need to re-orientate the minds of Egbema Youths in our region. We want them to leverage on the abundant gift of nature in our community, let us use this platform to approach and negotiate with these multinationals that have exploited us for multiple years. From there we can attract positive development and impact in our place,” Kelly Rufus said. He also added that through advocacy the initiative has recorded significant successes in the region.






Through the initiative over 100 youths have been trained to acquire high value skills. As empowerment continues to increase, health outreach and sensitization as well as education and infrastructural development. In celebrating this 10-years and looking forward to creating a bigger impact in the region. Ambassador I.E Kelly Rufus, believes that through the Egbema Massive Movement, tremendous change and transformation would take place in the Niger Delta region.
