Uju Sonia
The story of Uju Sonia, aka the relationship shepherd is really an adventurous pursuit. From growing up with strict parents being the first amongst six siblings. Exploring the exuberance that comes with Nigerian teenage individuals. For Uju, everything coupled together in shaping her into the young fantastic lady; currently making an awesome impact within her world.
From Imo State, and a bonafide graduate of Imo State University where she studied History and International relations. A part of Uju’s life had been spent in Port Harcourt. Some in Lagos and Imo State, where a majority of her life began growing up.
When Uju speaks to me, each word unearths so much confidence and baked experience which had tailored her life. Being in several failed relationships had taught Uju Sonia real life lessons. And it is from these same events she is presently carving a peculiar niche for herself as a relationship expert and life coach apparently. According to her, “I have always been passionate about heart breaks and relationships,” She tells me freely.
We discussed at length a bit how she started writing articles on a free WordPress blog in 2019 through 2020. With so much lacer focus, consistency and hard work. Uju has been able to coach a couple of individuals both locally and beyond. In her words, “In 2022, I pushed myself so hard that I got my first coaching client and later got my first foreign client as a relationship coach,” Uju Sonia recounts. “It all started with writing blog articles and it graduated to coaching and counselling heartbroken people and dating couples.”
Uju’s story comes with this gently baked inspiration that can be gritty, pleasing and satisfying. A golden transition from walking through life as a random young lady who has been in various relationships. “I had so many failed relationships because I wasn’t knowledgeable. Yes, I started dating at a very young age and I had experienced heart break so many times. I then decided that I was going to help young people discover who they are, heal from heartbreaks and experience beautiful relationships,” She says with so much passion. I felt it as ice water beneath my soul. The sensation never escaped.
Uju Sonia explored life through and through prior to when she embraced this God given purpose for her life. “My pastor made me understand that life is spiritual. My church also made me understand that relationship and love were beyond s3x. They made me see what God’s agenda was for romantic relationships and marriage,” She concluded.
Talking about her state of origin, she confessed that it shaped her into becoming a better human being. The state she graduated from and literally spent a good number of the years of her life. For those that have been influencing her growing career she mentioned bespoke personalities such as Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, Stephan Speaks, Esther Perel and more. Sonia has secured various milestone for her 3-years long and standing career. From being an award nominee, multiplying her audience, authoring a couple of books and so much more.
Presently, her gaze for her career’s trajectory is reaching for the higher ground. From dominating the creative landscape locally and internationally. Touring cities within Africa, Europe, America and more. Uju Sonia has a dazzling future and a huge role to play in the live of other individuals. A single relationship expert and a life coach.
