Starboy Terri: The Underrated Anointed, Nigerian Pop Star.

A Wizkid’s brought up would surely become one of Africa’s biggest pop stars in no time.

In February 2018, the popular Nigerian Record company, Starboy Records; signed an anointed star, Terri, into the family that houses and is owned by one of Africa’s biggest pop stars, Wizkid. After his series of social media buzz, and making cover record videos on his Instagram page, He was signed. And ever since, he has been directly under Wizkid’s tutelage, manifesting greatness at his own pace, but gearing towards something bigger with a plot to unfold more testaments of his greatness and, you can perceive through his records after the joint “Soco” collaboration in 2018, that balanced his coming.

“It’s not really about the talents because my talents would always remain with me, but Wizkid is one of the best Bosses who’s exposing me to lot and I’m grateful for that”. Terri says in an interview with Pulseng.

Terri is anointed, and he is a very talented pop star that has been undergoing under-ration plights in his career. He has been dishing the right records with striking sounds, but has been slowly winning hearts of listeners who genuinely believe in his art; despite the powers on his record, and indisputable forces behind his music making. Now, I hope we realize he is the anointed one; and his recent project, “Afro Series”, unfolds more captivating chapters in his creative testaments. Terri, makes very exceptional records with lasting impact. His “Ojoro”, Doo”, “Kill Man”, “Wake Up” and more tracks from his debut project was powerful enough to win your heart as favorites. Terri, has continued to clear his doubters, unveiling his creativity on many sides. His “Roma”, a Wizkid’s track, featuring him on the victorious “Made In Lagos” LP, was also a strong pursuit that kept the outstanding Star feature of Terri’s magic. He piloted the track continuously, “Roma”, made it to climax, where a close listener would express total happiness, showing how he/she feels wired to the song to dance reckless abandon.

The 21-year old Nigerian, Edo state born singer, Terri, has been anointed for something big. Remember, he is directly under Wizkid’s tutelage. Meanwhile, the talent he has at this age has seen the light in the tunnel, and he is steadfast at his level to bring forth his exceptionality in his creations right before you, on the table.
